چکیده
AIM: The present study assessed the effect of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) and photobiomodulation (PBM) on pulp capping exposed dogs’ teeth. METHODS: Forty-eight teeth in three mongrel dogs were randomly divided into two major groups; Group I where MTA was used as a agent II which both MTA+PBM used. groups equally subdivided according to observation period following completion Subgroup (A) 1 week, (B) 2, (C) 16 weeks. examined for histological inflammatory response well dentine bridge formation. RESULTS: With regard at week significantly, less intense inflammation observed (Group II) compared I) same time with no significant difference between other intervals. As dentin formation, PBM+MTA showed statistically thicker formation weeks than alone group CONCLUSIONS: Under conditions this study, PBM appeared be beneficial adjunct dental procedures material.

BACKGROUND Root canal treatment has been a routine treatment option for carious exposure of the dental pulp. In the context of minimally invasive dentistry, direct pulp capping (DPC) procedure with a reliable biomaterial may be considered as an alternative provided the pulp status is favorable. Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), a bioactive cement with excellent sealing ability and biocompatibil...

( o ( a p bstract his study evaluated the histomorphologic response of uman dental pulps capped with mineral trioxide agregate (MTA) and Ca(OH)2 cement (CH). Pulp expoures were performed on the occlusal floor of 40 human ermanent premolars. After that, the pulp was capped ither with CH or MTA and restored with composite esin. After 30 and 60 days, teeth were extracted and rocessed for histologi...

PURPOSE The aim of this study was to use clinical, radiographic, and histologic examinations to compare the relative success of gray mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), white MTA, and formocresol as pulp dressings in pulpotomized primary teeth. METHODS Twenty-four children, each with at least 3 primary molars requiring pulpotomy, were selected for this study's clinical and radiographic portion....
متن کاملDirect pulp capping with mineral trioxide aggregate: an observational study.
BACKGROUND Pulp capping in carious teeth has been considered unpredictable and therefore contraindicated. A recently developed material, mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), resists bacterial leakage and may provide protection for the pulp, allowing repair and continued pulp vitality in teeth when used in combination with a sealed restoration. METHODS Forty patients aged 7 to 45 years accepted p...
